Que comecem as festividades

Olá meninas,

Hoje apeteceu-me partilhar convosco dois looks para estes dias de festa que se aproximam. Confesso que o gosto por coisas brilhantes tem vindo a aumentar e surpreendentemente para mim, os dourados também. Destas duas opções gosto do primeiro pelo corte e pelas riscas transversais e do segundo pelos padrões. E das cores em ambos.

E vocês já têm alguma roupa especial para vestir nos próximos dias?

Today I felt like sharing with you two looks for these holidays that approach. I confess that my taste for shiny things is increasing and surprisingly to me, for the golden also. From these two options I like the first one because of the cut and the transversal stripes, and the second one because of the patterns. And the colors on both of them.

O melhor de dois mundos

O melhor de dois mundos para estes dias frios que cheiram a Natal.
Encontrei esta receita que me parece maravilhosa de chocolalate quente de bolacha de gengibre caseiro. Tipo... chocolate quente <3 <3 e bolachas de gengibre (megalove). É preciso dizer mais?!!
Experimentem-na e digam-me de vossa justiça. Confesso que ando um pouco preguiçosa para fazer seja o que for, mas se alguém a experimentar e ficar aprovada prometo que também a faço e partilho com quem me aparecer pela frente :D

I found this recipe for Homemade Gingerbread Hot Cocoa that seems wonderful. Like ... hot chocolate <3 <3 and gingerbread (megalove). Do I need to tell more?!!!

Pole dancing

Hoje gostaria de dar os parabéns a Emma Haslam de 27 anos que desafiou as espectativas de toda a gente ao participar no Britain's Got Talent 2014 com um número de pole dancing (dança do varão).  Esta grande senhora foi mostrar a toda a gente que esta prática não é só para gente magra mas que toda a gente a pode adoptar como exercício e fazê-lo bem. E ela foi um máximo!!!! :D

Today I would like to congratulate Emma Haslam, 27 years. She challenged the expectations of everyone by taking part in Britain's Got Talent 2014 with a pole dancing number. This great lady went there to show everyone that this practice is not just for skinny people, everyone can adopt this exercise and do it well. And she did it!! : D

Quem diria que as modelos são das pessoas mais inseguras? Verdade ou não cabe a cada um decidir por si. Pessoalmente penso que possa ser comum entre as mulheres modelo, mas não todas claro, principalmente por todos os benefícios que a Cameron refere receber em troca e muitas vezes essas coisas acabam por dar alguma confiança.
Mas de uma forma geral, a mensagem que ela quer transmitir é que a imagem que nós vemos não é de todo a pessoa em si, e é o resultado do trabalho de várias pessoas/ equipas de preparação e edição de imagem. ou seja. não é real.

Who knew that models were the most insecure people? True or not is for each person to decide for themselves. Personally I think that may be common among female models, but not to all of course, mainly because of all the benefits that Cameron refers that they often receive.  These things end up giving some confidence.
But in general, the message she wants to convey is that the image we see is not at all the person itself, and is the result of the work of several people / teams preparation and image editing. ie. is not real.

Galochas / rain boots / wellies

O tema de hoje são as galochas!

Confesso que nem sempre lhes achei muita graça mas elas também já evoluíram muito do seu típico verde e da associação com o trabalho no campo ou no mar. Hoje em dia podemos encontrá-las de todas as cores, padrões, feitios e também para todas as carteiras. Se forem como eu que tenho alguma desproporção entre o tamanho do meu pé e a barriga da perna... poderá não ser tão fácil conseguir encontrar umas galachas que sirvam. Mas se as encontrarem, divirtam-se com elas ;)
Sugestão: Calçar umas galochas, uma roupa confortável, ir dar um passeio, soltar a criança de 4 anos que há em nós e chapinhar nas poças como se não houvesse amanhã :D

The topic of today is rain boots!

I confess I did not always found them much fun but they have also evolved a lot from your typical green and associated idea with working in the field or at sea. Nowadays we can find them in all colors, patterns, shapes, and also for all wallets. If you are like me and have some lack of proportion between the size of the foot and calf ... may not be so easy to find some rain boots that fit. But if you do, have fun with them ;)
Tip: Put on some rain boots, comfortable clothes, go for a walk, unleash the 4 year old that lives in you and splash in puddles like there is no tomorrow: D

Good Morning Rain :)

Bom dia chuva e bom dia gente maravilhosa :)

Hoje está um misto de chuva intercalado com algum sol :)
Para todos aqueles que, como eu, já lutaram várias vezes contra a chuva, o vento e o próprio chapéu de chuva na esperança de não ficaram muito molhados e... perderam a luta, aqui ficam algumas ideias mais agradáveis ou promissoras de chapéus de chuva ;)

Esta última imagem não é tanto pela capacidade de protecção do chapéu mas pela facilidade de guardar e transportar. Já é muito raro usar chapéus de chuva porque para além de me chatear andar com eles atrás arranjo sempre maneira de os deixar esquecidos algures :)

For all of those who, like me, have fought several times against rain, wind and umbrellas hoping not to get too wet and ... have lost the fight, here are some more pleasant or promising ideas of umbrellas ;)
This last image is not so much for the protection capability of the umbrella but for ease of storing and carrying. It is very rare for me to use umbrellas because apart from upsetting me to carry it I always manage to forget them somewhere :)

Plastic surgery baby

Olá gente gira!

Este post não define a minha opinião sobre cirurgia plástica, mas sim algo que me interroguei sobre o assunto.
Um casal em que ambos tenham feito cirurgias plásticas, muito ou pouco significativas, quando tiverem um filho imagino as pessoas, como é habitual, a tentarem encontrar semelhanças com os pais. E possivelmente a considerarem se a criança não teria sido trocada na maternidade ou adotada.
Do ponto de vista da criança que impacto é que isso poderá ter? E que mensagem é que lhe será transmitida?

Isto ocorreu-me ao ver o casal Avril Lavigne e Chad Kroeger que esperam um bebé. Ambos fizeram cirurgias plásticas e ele está praticamente irreconhecível.

Deixo-vos aqui este dueto que até gosto. Bom dia :)

This post does not define my views on plastic surgery, but is something that I've interrogated myself about it.
In a couple when both have done, very minor or large plastic surgery when they have a child I can imagine people, as usual, to try to find similarities with parents. And possibly to consider whether the child would not have been exchanged on maternity or been adopted.
From the point of view of the child what impact might this have? And what message will be transmitted?

This occurred to me to when I saw the couple Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger, that are expecting a baby. Both made plastic surgeries and he is virtually unrecognizable.
